Ethnobotanical Garden

Holistic Healing Centre
Manuel Antonio Mueses is a plant biologist who has dedicated over 30 years of research of medicinal plants in the Amazon region of Columbia.
Belonging to the indigenous Kamëntšá Biyá community from the Putumayo region of Colombia, Manuel has been a tireless advocate for promoting knowledge exchange with other indigenous communities to gain a broader perspective on medicinal plants and traditions.
Concerned about the effects of climate change & biodiversity loss of medicinal plants, Manuel is building an ethnobotanical garden & holistic healing centre, where he will cultivate medicinal plants & provide treatment for a variety of common illnesses.
Together with Manuel, TERRA Foundation invites you to help preserve medicinal plants and safeguard ancestral knowledge to better care for the community today and for future generations.
